My opinion on Offsite Disaster Recovery....
Why are people still using tape backups for offsite recovery? They're slow, unreliable and require a lot of management overhead. I'm guessing that people just aren't aware of their options.
Consider this: You can configure a spanky new, fully replicated 4TB Storage Area Network for less than $50k (that's two arrays, one on each side)....
